The facility itself was nice it was clean. The balcony overlooking the water was a joke. You had to lean over a railing and look to the left to see the water. I immediately went downstairs and spoke to wonderful young man named London. I asked to switch to a different room that had 2 beds.Instead of one queen bed.. I was willing to share a bed if I had a view. He courteously and swiftly got me into a different room. Ironically it had a better view.. The young man London was very helpful and letting us know which restaurants were good in the area. He told us about a mardi gras parade that evening. He really was the best part about the hotel. Parking was in a hotel garage across the street. The breakfast was okay the staff was a nice.. The coffee was watered down. The orange juice was watered down.. But I don't feel that was the staffs fault.. If i'm in Baton Rouge again I probably wouldn't stay there again. There was honestly nothing to do in walking distance.. thank God for the amazing Mardis Gras parade.. it was family friendly and incredible to see. I didn't even know there was going to be one. Me and my daughter were visiting from out of state and wanted to experience Louisiana.. If it was not For the parade we would have been very disappointed with Baton Rouge..

Actually, the check in. I've stayed at this inn several times over the years. My husband and I first stayed when our 2 kids were around 8 maybe 7. They are 15 now. Every year we come back for the Spanish Town Parade. I ,by myself, came in Dec and was late getting there, I actually told the ladies at the front desk that I'd see them in February. And, I brought the kids back again for the parade. I could write alot about the front desk ladies, but this is also about the stay. I can say before my husband passed, we went several places. It's very few places that makes you want to go back because of the people. And hard to find a inn, hotel, motel etc. With a a/c that actually works great. I'll be going back next year . Keep the ladies at the desk. The place you own is only as good as the ones who actually do the work.

First, the front desk lady: Markisha, SOOOO NICE!! We would get texts throughout our stay asking how everything was, and if we needed anything. It was fabulous. It was right in the middle of downtown. We brought our 3-year-old to see the Bluey show downtown at the Raising Cane’s Center, legit right down the street. Loved the location. Breakfast was fabulous. The breakfast area was SO clean. Plenty of items to choose from. Plenty of towels, linens, etc. The AC worked REALLY well, hahaha.

Kristina

The staff was very friendly and engaging. Everyone at the front desk greeted you as you came and went. Housekeeping checked in with us. The ladies working the breakfast buffet treated you as their own, every morning they were so friendly and cared about what they do.

Bradley

The location of the inn, the condition of the room was great, the staff members were all excellent especially Kalin. The visit was our first and we look forward to returning again in the near future.
